Layered Croissanterie
Welcome to Layered, North Carolina’s quirky, oh so delicious croissanterie. Pastry chef Kawsar wanted to open up a croissanterie in the up and coming food scene of Raleigh, North Carolina. She came to us with one agenda, which was to stand out. Like a croissant, eating it has many layers. Eating one should be fun, mysterious, exciting and bring all your senses to life. We wanted the branding to respect and reflect the amazing experience of consuming a croissant. You really do feel all the “fillings.”

Layered brings serious joy to people through high quality baked goods. As soon as you walk in, you see the layers transformed into wild creations. We wanted the primary logo to evoke this excitement of the layers being created.

Branding at every
touch point
We worked closely with Bolt Design to create a space that carried the quirky and inclusive personality of Layered. We made sure to inject pops of fun without overwhelming the customer. We created an extremely positive place for people of all ages to enjoy amazing pastries and relax.
